In real life, Lori Collier is two people. Lori Ryan--a former lawyer and dog trainer who wishes she was a kick-butt dragon riding slayer of baddies, and Eli Collier--who actually is a kick-butt martial artist. She could probably be a dragon riding slayer of baddies if she could find a dragon who wasn’t too grumpy to ride.
Lori Ryan lives with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and assorted other small creatures. She is a USA Today and NY Times bestselling author of romantic suspense and police procedural mysteries. She has over 26 novels and novellas out and has now begun writing contemporary romance, urban fantasy, and 1920s historical cozy mysteries with writing partners. She's absolutely convinced there's no better job in the world!
Eli Collier lives with her family in Nashville, TN. She holds a third degree black belt in MMA and a third degree black belt in Isshinryu. She was ranked 3rd in fighting and 4th in forms in the world for two years, and was inducted into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame and the Isshinryu Hall of Fame as Competitor of the Year. When she isn’t kicking things, she loves spending time with her dogs and feeding her sweet tooth.
